Fellow Man/I Love My Fellow Man

Religion
Without reverence.
How will you love a deity,
But not your fellow man?
We are nothing but human.
We are gross, puss-filled flesh
festering with hate and evil.
We leak red and yellow, gross, salty sweat.
We are all mortal.
I love my fellow man.
I am the same
Meat, flesh, blood, bones, marrow
As child-laborers in Cambodia,
As displaced Palestinians,
As slaves in central Africa.
We are human,
And we, only we, truly hate.
We are not the only ones that suffer.
Our children and animals suffer harder
The only ones that cannot understand.
I still love my fellow man.
